Patience' is my favourite 'sin'??

Few people know that I'm a 'movie lover' and take a little quote with me every day. Al Pacino's "vanity is my favourite sin" from the 'Devil's advocate' is one of them when I feel 'smug'. Thinking about the Miami Worldcup there is a bit of that in me.

Having 4 classes in the medal races looks great and combine that with what I've seen on the water and heard on land from the sailors and coaches, I think we're still on the slope of progress, and that is what we need this whole year, and as much as we can.

In the Radial class, Line managed to 'shine' on the racing course and on land during the talks we've had. We've created a great cooperation with the Danish Sailing Team and she gives it all and actually radiates. Great!

Hermann is in full 'fundamental winter training-mode' and still got a series that showed that his closing in on the world elite. I believe he can become a contender of those 'Laser worldstars' like Slingsby and Goodison, so now he needs to believe that as well. No pressure!

Also Anders is still up there. Already with a focus on this years early Europeans in March it was clear to see that everyone in the class picked up the pace.

Anders hold his ground, ready to revenge his last 'Europeans experience' in Marseille.

Than, both Maria and Seb got quite some good confirmation about the chosen priorities for the winter training. This could be difficult to see in the end result but was clearly visible   on the water for me and our windsurfing coach Jochem Brenninkmeijer.

And of course finally…... the silver from Maia and Ragna Agerup is great! Well done!

All in all……. Good trip. Now get back to work!

Good winds!
